I love to play video games on a PC - the biggest reason being that I can use my preferred input method: Mouse and Keyboard. But gaming PCs are expensive. A good gaming PC starts anywhere from $1000. Compare this to the latest generation gaming console which you can buy for $300.

The idea of using a gaming console as a cheaper replacement of a gaming PC intrigues me. The thought of spending half the money (or less) of a gaming PC to play the latest games is a really tantalizing proposition.

But, what about Mouse and Keyboard support?

Gaming consoles have becomes more and more PC like with every new generation of release. The latest gaming consoles basically have the same hardware (and in some cases software) as a gaming PC. They even allow you to plug in a mouse and keyboard into their USB slots.

Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One are examples of such gaming consoles that allow users to plug in their own mouse and keyboards. This means that game developers for these consoles can take advantage of this by enabling mouse and keyboard input in their games.

Not all games support mouse and keyboard input. And for some of those that do, they don't support full mouse and keyboard (example: some games won't allow you to map keyboard keys or set the mouse sensitivity settings).

This page is dedicated to cataloguing all of the current games that support mouse and keyboard input on Xbox consoles - and to describe the extent of such support.
